Gabriel Wilson (born Sébastien Gabriel Wallaeys-Wilson in Croix, France)

"Since I remember, I always loved music and this glitter world but I really started at 8', I praticed Violin during 2 years and I was singing in a choir. It came naturally, that's what I always wanted to do (...)  I don't wanna be famous or make money with music, it's just vital for me.  It sounds crazy but when I don't have my piano, that I can't compose or sing, I 'm really depressed."

In 2008, He leaves Lille to settle in Paris to start his artistic career.

'Rush' (B.side of "Hey Mista DJ") was released as a single and became a minor club hit, also charting at number 6 on CDON's singles chart. It has been released in 5 countries (Poland, Sweden, Benelux), extract from his debut

"At this point, I really realised that France would never give me the chance to make it here, the message from the French Music Industry was clear : 'If you don't sing in French, we've got nothing to propose you here',  I said to myself, Okay, that's too bad but Europe is Big and if my country refuses me, I'll try abroad, and it works.  I knew that from the first album in 2008, that my style would be appreciated in Eastern and Northern Countries where singing in English is just a way to be understood by everyone,

I had the chance to be on the radio on those welcoming countries and it's still a wonderful memory."

"The USA has been a great inspiration' source for me, with a big 'love at first sight' for Las Vegas and Hollywood. I'm back in France now with lots of new ideas, the adventure goes on this year and it's still a wonderful dream I'm livin' in. It  sounds a bit selfish, but I'm always making music that I like and it doesn't matter if the people hate it sometimes, I have the freedom to do what I want to do and what I love and

that's a big chance."
